Posted August 08, 2018 06:29:20Microsoft announced on Monday that it has hired 10 employees for its new positions, including the chief technology officer, the director of user experience, the lead designer, and the chief architect.
The companies website did not list the names of the people who will be working on these positions.
Microsoft also announced that its newly hired developer of Windows and Windows-powered tablets, as well as its head of hardware, have been promoted to executive vice president of engineering.
The company said it also will be hiring a “chief architect for Microsoft HoloLens” to oversee the creation of a new “Windows experience” for HoloLens.
Microsoft is currently working on a new version of the HoloLens, codenamed Project Quantum.
Microsoft also said it has retained a former chief information officer for its IT department.
The company also announced it is hiring a director of global communications, an executive vice chancellor of Microsoft Studios, a vice president at the Microsoft Research Center, and a director at the Software and Services Group.
