The Next Step Corporation is a non-profit organization with a mission to “change the world” through “education and advocacy for sustainable growth, the empowerment of people of color, the preservation of natural ecosystems, and the protection of wildlife and biodiversity.”
Google’s mission statement states that “the world is in the midst of a profound and urgent challenge that requires a global solution.”
In a statement released today, the company said its “commitment to diversity and inclusion is one of our core values.”
The statement also said that the company “does not tolerate discrimination, harassment or harassment of any kind.”
The company is reportedly looking for a board of directors, a CEO and at least four other people to join the board.
The announcement comes after the company announced earlier this month that it was creating a global advisory board with a “top 10 diversity, inclusion, and inclusion leaders.”
The organization will also focus on the “growing number of women and people of colour in tech and in the workforce.”
The Next Steps CEO, Scott Hall, said in a statement to The Next Page that the new group will work to “help shape the next generation of leaders in tech, finance, media, education, government, the arts, and more.”
